寫譜記--史卡博羅市集 @ 大頭木

小提琴班期末的我讓學生自由選曲表演，有位學生選了一首有音樂卻沒樂譜的歌曲--史卡博羅市集，她哼給我聽，我幫她改成較正確的拍子後用她想要的簡譜寫在黑板上，另一位學生找了YouTube上莎拉布莱曼的演唱給我，以下是歌詞，這是為了讓女歌手唱而改版的歌詞，所以把she her 改成了he him

我完成了粗略的五線譜後，忽然很想瞭解一下這首歌的背景，才發見代誌沒那簡單

這首曲子會出名是在電影「畢業生」的插曲，賽門及葛芬柯二重唱(Simon and Garfunkel)，我覺得這個版本風味十足

他們唱的是反戰版歌詞(括弧中的是描述戰爭的情節，我只翻譯括弧中的，其它的翻譯下面有)

這原是蘇格蘭的民歌，源自17世紀的一個傳說，一位身份低微的男人因為得不到想要的女人，於是以一種矛盾的方式來表達他的失落感，歌詞中就是要聽他唱歌的聽眾到史卡博羅市集去找到那位女人，然後要她完成眾多不可能的任務後再來求他愛她，在那時代根本不可能發生。(史卡博羅市集1253年1月22日由英王亨利三世設立)

網路上有很多不同的翻譯，我覺得與原意不是非常貼切，所以就簡單的翻出，到底任務有多不可能，請格友們瞧瞧囉~~

荷蘭芹、鼠尾草、迷迭香與百里香
不能有接縫也不能用針線
